Service Needs
In 2025, the Why February Foundation hosted their 4th Annual NOIR Why February Fundraiser Gala. Our team interviewed and wrote a blog about the founder, DeeDee McPhaul, and her journey in continuing her late husband’s legacy through the foundation. This was crucial to communicate the founder's story to current and future donors. We helped craft the foundation’s mission statement, ran a social media campaign, and supported the email marketing campaign to promote the gala to family, friends and donors.

The Colonel John H. McPhaul Jr. Memorial Endowment Scholarship reached its full funding goal of $25,400 and will empower a deserving student at John’s alma mater beginning in Fall 2026. To celebrate this milestone, The Why February Foundation is proud to partner with Asha Bey Communications to craft and execute a powerful communications strategy for its inaugural, intimate donor appreciation dinner in February 2026 to honor those whose generosity made this legacy possible.
